For years Steve has been creating some interesting challenges for me and the design team at Wilvorst. He always wants to offer the highest quality suits which buck the normal high street trends especially when it comes to the quality and styling of the suit to hire. Not content with that he also insists on or at least asks for other detail changes to ensure his suiting remains modern in not only quality but the fit as well.

It isn't really a surprise that Steve has branched out and that he has now created his own brand and company. Within the trade we were thinking "what took you so long Steve" but not now.

We wanted a traditional look but modern at the same time and just couldn't find it. Thankfully the team who were helping us with our wedding, My Ok! Wedding, knew of Steve having seen him at the national wedding show in London. They thought he would have just the thing and suggested that we meet. To cut a very long story short it was easy for Steve to figure out what we we were looking for and helped us choose just the perfect style even down to coordinating our cravat colour. Nothing seemed too much trouble even diverting on a trip up north to fit out the father in law. The quality and the comfort of the suits were amazing on such a hot day and his attention to detail was really appreciated. It also helped that Steve had looked after a few other "profile" weddings to ensure our wedding remained private leading up to the big day as well. For that we really are grateful.

When planning a wedding the groom's suit is normally so overlooked. It becomes all about the bride and her dress. After a lot of thought my groom decided he was not going to sit back and have any old suit from any old shop. He wanted the best that he could afford so we decided to source a beautiful suit. He wanted something different from the other guys, something that fitted well in the legs, chest and arms to make him look as good as me.

Most hire shops seemed to offer baggy shirts that are clearly too big all over, trousers seemed to have no shape and the jackets looked like they just hung, no fit at all. We had also heard horror stories of some shops taking measurements down but actually given you different sizes. He just wanted to walk into a shop and to feel as well treated as us brides and confident that what he ordered was what he got given. We came across Steve Bishop from a few friends who used him on their wedding day, (see testimonial from Brent Garner) and raved about him and wow, as soon as we met Steve we knew he had the right professionalism for us. All he needed to do was take a look at the groom and before you knew it he had a suit on him that fitted perfectly, first time, no measurements needed and it was spot on for the theme of the wedding. The shirt fitted like a glove, the cut to the trouser was stunning, and the stitching detail and other extra detail to the pockets made it just look better, different and special. Steve even suggested for us to try braces and explained why every good suit should come with them, again a very nice touch especially for the photos.

The tails had the most beautiful cut that looked exclusive and the lining followed through to the back of the waistcoat. When the jacket was removed you could still see a sense of style so he could go into the evening still looking great. It really was a cut above the rest in every way. Steve's customer service is second to none and he could not do more for you. Best of all he knows how to make grooms look as good as the bride and how to make you stand out from a crowd unlike a lot of the other places that we tried. You really can trust Steve and his amazing range of tailoring and knowledge to dress your party in the way they deserve.

Unfortunately we had already put the rest of the grooms' men in hire suits from somewhere else. It wasn't about the money as such but yes the guy's suits were cheaper than my groom but it really showed. When seeing the bad fit of these i.e. baggy shirts and trousers and the sizes seeming to be wrong my biggest regret that we did not use Steve for all of the suits.
